Cognos 11 Change your Internet Explorer to support studio and language change

 Internet Explorer settings
>> Internet Explorer and Firefox are fully supported browsers with Cognos BI.
>> Crome is partly supported but Analysis Studio and Query Studio will not be available.

There are two Internet Options -> Security settings which should be changed for Cognos BI to work as expected
1. Go to Internet options
2. Go to Security -> Custom level
3. Change highlighted settings (navigate bottom of the list)

Windows 10 - Change your default programs
Go to Internet Explorer Settings 3.
Set your default programs 2.
Go to Internet Options -> Programs -> Internet programs -> Set programs
4. Select e.g. Internet Explorer and set it as your default program 5 5.
Select Adobe Reader and set it as your default program.

 Change Cognos product and content language

1. Go to Cognos ’My prefererences’
2. Go to Cognos ’My prefererences’ and change the Product language and Content language
